Pat Brode

Patrick Brode is a lawyer in Windsor, Ontario, and author of five books on the history of law in Canada, including Sir John Beverley Robinson: Bone and Sinew of the Compact, a finalist for the City of Toronto Book Award in 1985, and The Odyssey of John Anderson, a finalist for the Trillium Award in 1990. His new book, The Slasher Killings: A Canadian Sex-Crime Panic, 1945-1946, was published in 2009 by Painted Turtle Press. It was shortlisted for the Arthur Ellis Award.
